Carlos F. Acuña

Carlos is a multilingual and bicultural Mexican national from the northern state of Sonora. He completed his higher education at the University of Arizona acquiring a degree in Business Administration with a major in Marketing, and a minor in Romance Languages (French, Italian, and Portuguese). Carlos worked in the investment banking industry for several years, transferring to San Miguel de Allende in 1983. He has been a partner in the oldest art gallery in town, Atenea Gallery, for the past 35 years, and has been involved in the real estate industry for 25 years. Carlos is a member of AMPI (Mexican Association of Professional Realtors), NAR (National Association of Realtors), and FIABCI (International Real Estate Federation). He obtained the TRC (Transnational Referral Certified) degree and is a CIPS (Certified International Property Specialist) designee. Carlos is former President (two year term 2010-2011) of the local chapter of AMPI in San Miguel de Allende.
